VISION:
The First Baptist Church of Chesterfield is dedicated to reaching and teaching children with God’s Word by creating a safe and supportive environment, encouraging their spiritual growth through competent, consistent and creative biblical teaching and providing opportunities for them to serve in the church and the community.
MISSION:
The FBCC Children Ministry support families by equipping children with the Word of God so they can share their faith with excitement and confidence.
Nursery – The Nursery offers Christian teaching for Infants though Kindergarten. Children are assigned to developmentally appropriate classrooms: Infants, Toddlers and Preschool/Kindergarten. Our goal is to ensure children experience the love of Jesus through our volunteers and age appropriate activities.
Children’s Church – Children’s Church is held concurrently during regular worship service on Sunday and includes Grades 1-5. Age appropriate and biblical based curriculum are used for teaching the Word of God in an exciting and interactive way.
Tweens – Our Tweens class, for Grades 6-8, is also held during regular worship service on Sunday. The class builds upon the biblical teachings from Children’s Church while also challenging students to think critically. Students are engaged in discussion and encouraged to share their perspectives and ask questions.
