Dr. T.D. Stubblefield assumed the pastor’s
mantle at First Baptist Church of Chesterfield February 6, 2000.
Prior to accepting FBCC’s call, he served as pastor of First
Baptist Church of Georgetown, Kentucky from 1983 - 1999.
As under-shepherd, Pastor Stubblefield serves as FBCC’s
principal teacher and chief visionary. In that role, he has
positioned FBCC as a local church with a global mission. Under
his teaching and leadership, upwards of 700 people have united
with our congregation and Christian education programs and
ministries have been bolstered in number and substance.
In 2006, Pastor Stubblefield helped to form and became Chairman
of Global Reach Unity Corporation. GRUC is a not-for-profit
organization committed to fostering partnerships and bridging
gaps in the local community and abroad.
A gifted and dynamic preacher, Pastor Stubblefield is a
well-sought after speaker; he has shared the gospel across this
continent and as far as South Africa, where |
Dr. Stubblefield spoke at the South African Evangelistic Mission Jubilee
Celebration in 2004.
Pastor Stubblefield has earned a Master of
Divinity degree in Christian Education from Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, a Doctor of Ministry degree from
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois and has
received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Georgetown College
in Georgetown, Kentucky.
He is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains and
has served for nine years as the volunteer chaplain for the city of
Chesterfield Police Department.
A native Tennessean, Pastor Stubblefield and his lovely wife Judy have
been married since 1977. They are the proud parents of Darius, Jakeeta,
Charlton and Kacy, and grandparents to Nadia, Trinity and Eden.
In his spare moments, Pastor Stubblefield enjoys reading, aerobics,
playing guitar and listening to classical music. |
