DR. T. D. STUBBLEFIELD, SENIOR PASTOR-TEACHER

Dr. T. D. Stubblefield is the Senior Pastor-Teacher of First Baptist Church of Chesterfield, Missouri. Since joining First Baptist Church of Chesterfield (FBCC) in February 2000 he has led a congregation that is committed to fulfilling the vision of being a “local church with a global mission”. Prior to joining First Baptist Church of Chesterfield, Dr. Stubblefield served as Pastor-Teacher of First Baptist Church of Georgetown, KY for 17 years.

An avid student of the Word and dynamic preacher-teacher, Dr. Stubblefield is frequently sought after as a conference speaker and revivalist in the United States and abroad, including ministering in Cape Town, South Africa. His ministry also reaches thousands throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area each Sunday via FBCC’s “Forward in Faith” weekly radio broadcast, now in the tenth year on BOTT Radio Network. A prolific writer, Dr. Stubblefield is the author of Sacred Seed & Living Bread, a collection of articles relating the principles of God’s Word to everyday life; and Just Cutting It Straight I and 2, collections of textual and expositional outlines drawn from Old and New Testament passages.

He is a member of the Chesterfield, Missouri Chamber of Commerce, and served on the Board of Directors for Mathews-Dickey Boy’s & Girl’s Club. Since August 2001, he has served as Volunteer Chaplain for the Chesterfield, Missouri Police Department, and is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains.

Dr. Stubblefield has a passion for leadership development and encouraging the work of the local church. His impact is far-reaching and spans across a variety of local and national organizations. He is a member of the Chesterfield, Missouri Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Board of Directors for Mathews-Dickey Boy’s & Girl’s Club. He serves as Volunteer Chaplain for the Chesterfield, Missouri Police Department, and is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains.

Dr. Stubblefield received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Louisville, and a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He earned a Doctorate of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Theological Seminary in Deerfield, IL, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Georgetown College in Kentucky.

Dr. Stubblefield is married to his devoted wife, Judy Stubblefield, and they have four children and nine grandchildren.  In his leisure Dr. Stubblefield enjoys reading, writing, aerobics, learning to play the guitar and listening to classical music.
